Wawashkamo Golf Club

Rich in history and tradition, the Wawashkamo Golf Club on Mackinac Island, Michigan offers a special golfing experience for members and the public.

The historic course was designed by Scottish golf pro Alex Smith in 1898 and is one of the few remaining links courses in America.

Named by members of the Island’s Anishinabe or Chippewa Indians, Wawashkamo means “Walk a Crooked Trail.”

The Wawashkamo Clubhouse

The Wawashkamo Clubhouse is open to the public. Our facilities can provide a cool place to relax after a fun round of golf or can be used to host weddings, family outings and corporate events. More information on food service and private functions…

Visit our clubhouse to purchase logoed merchandise and golf essentials such as sweaters, fleeceware, rainsuits, golf balls and more. We also offer a selection of putters and wedges, and lockers for your convenience.

The club is open from mid-May through October 15.
