Elisabeth Pixley-Fink is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and cultural worker originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. From the depths and range of her voice emerge well-crafted songs: tunes for healing, aching songs that swell with unhurried intensity. Her playful and moving performances have earned her a strong following in Michigan. She has released several albums, most notably Bloodroot, which was funded by a Kalamazoo Arts Council Emerging Artists Grant in 2013. She is a member of Earthwork Music and is currently residing in Portland, Oregon where she works as a Montessori elementary teacher.

8pm, Marquette Park, Mackinac Island – Free

With a spectacular backdrop, our summer concert series takes place on the lawn of a National Historic Landmark, Marquette Park, which is at the foothills of Historic Fort Mackinac downtown across from the marina. Bring a picnic and tune in for some great live folk, rock, country, blues–the best of Americana. All concerts are free. We do recommend bringing a blanket or lawn chairs for your comfort.
