About Legacy Five
This October, we look forward to welcoming Legacy Five back to the Grand stage. When the legendary cathedral quartet retired in December of 1999, Scott Fowler and Roger Bennett decided to continue the rich musical tradition of Southern gospel quartet singing. Legacy Five was organized and had their official debut in January 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Since that day, they have made a major mark on the Southern gospel music world. Immediately, audiences responded overwhelmingly to their four-part harmony and their ability to effectively communicate the message of Christ. Since the quartet’s formation, they have established and maintained a firm place at the top of Christian music. To learn more about Legacy Five, follow their Facebook page or visit their website.

Grand Hotel will be throwing a Masquerade Ball for only the most elite among the elite of society. Your invitation comes with a friendly warning. Behind the glitz and glamour of a roaring Masquerade Ball lies the sinister motives of murder amongst one of the guests. Will you and your guests be able to unmask the murderer before it’s too late? There is only one way to find out.

Package Includes:

  • Grand Hotel Accommodations
  • Breakfast and dinner daily
  • All resort amenities
  • Friday evening Murder Mystery Welcome Reception
  • Murder Mystery activities and entertainment including interactive Crime Scene Investigations on Saturday afternoon and evening

About the Murder Mystery Weekend

This invite comes from somebody with murder on their mind. Your invitation promises plenty of excitement and intrigue. However, beyond the glitz and glamor of this event lies something more sinister.

You and your party play the detective in this interactive game of mystery and murder behind the closed doors of Grand Hotel. Investigate the scene of the crime, interrogate suspects, and solve a murder. This one-of-a-kind event promises to be nothing short of a “Grand” ol’ time.

Upon check-in, receive your first packet of information and clues. Friday is the kick-off performance, which sets the tone of events and when the first murder takes place. On Saturday, there is a brief gathering with the Detective, who explains the hunt for clues. (This also allows you some time on your own to enjoy the beauty of Mackinac Island and Grand Hotel.)

Come back on Saturday afternoon, when Act II is performed and another murder takes place. The evening concludes with three interactive mysteries, where guests in different groups will be rotated into the mystery experiences. Sunday morning the mystery is solved!

Open Hearts Foundation

Co-Founded by Jane Seymour, the Open Hearts Foundation has been shoulder to shoulder with those experiencing adversity, providing many forms of support and inspiration. At the heart of the Foundation’s mission is the Open Hearts Philosophy that in times of great challenge, one must accept it and reach out to do what they can to help others. In doing this, they can find purpose and live with an open heart. The Foundation fulfills its mission and has a deep commitment to serve through its two programs: a grant making program and the Young Hearts Volunteerism program. These two programs directly align with the Open Hearts Philosophy because we can all do something to help. Whether big or small, a generous donation or volunteering a skill set or time, we all have a role to play in lifting others up, inspiring those around us, and doing what we can in the face of adversity. The Foundation has provided more than $1.4 million to emerging charities throughout the United States in its grantmaking history and has engaged thousands of volunteers across the globe to do what they can to help and find their unique purpose. The Foundation is a small, public, 501(c)(3) foundation with an enormous mission, supported by creative, like-minded people working together for the greater good. Everyone is invited to join the Open Hearts movement! www.OpenHeartsFoundation.org
